What inspired you to create your own planning business?
"I created Jillian Jensen Events in 2014 after working in numerous event based jobs for companies and non profits. I was lured by wanting a flexible schedule but also the ability to create and work with couples on a daily basis. I honestly thought I would want to go back to a regular 9-5 quickly but now I really can't picture ever going back!"
What is your favorite part of working in the Colorado wedding industry?
"The views! Every weekend during wedding season I get to be outside in the fresh Colorado air, under the huge skies and staring at beautiful backdrops. I also love that Colorado attracts couples from all over the country, which means I get to work with such a wide variety of people from all over."
What makes your planning process unique when working with a couple leading up to their wedding day?
"I focus on day-of coordination which makes my company unique! The reason I chose to go this path is because I love taking what my couples have planned and help them put it all together and bring it to fruition. You've spent weeks, months, maybe even years on end crafting this beautiful day to celebrate YOU so I'm here to make sure your plans are executed exactly how you want them to be."
